“The Odd Couple” Dinner Theatre at Christman’s Windham House

Next weekend, be sure to make time in your schedules for a production of “The Odd Couple” performed as a dinner theater at Christman’s Windham House by the Schoharie Creek Players. Established in 1997, the Schoharie Creek Players (SCP) aim to inspire, educate and involve adults and children of the mountaintop by presenting classic theatrical works ranging from comedies to dramas and from full-length musicals to small sketches of American Classics.
On February 26 and 28, the SCP will perform the classic comedy “The Odd Couple”, but with a decidedly feminine twist. Former Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School drama coach, member of the SCP, the Green Room Players and various other acting companies, seasoned director and actor Jim Starr directs this performance and through the skill of director and actor alike, promises an evening chock full of hilarity.
In addition to an evening of entertainment, the ticket price also includes dinner by the chefs of Christman’s Windham House. The extensively trained staff of the Christman’s House will offer up a fine meal sure to fix those February chills. There will also be a cash bar available if something a little stiffer is needed to stave off the cold. The ticket price includes a gratuity for the waitstaff, but be sure to give your bartender and waitress a little bit extra for providing the libations.
Tickets are $45 and include both a sumptuous dinner, gratuity and the show which will be performed on Friday, February 26th, with a 6:30pm dinner followed by the show at 7:30pm. If you can’t make it on Friday, don’t worry, because there will be an encore presentation on Sunday, February 28th with dinner at 5:00pm and the show at 6:00pm. For reservations please call 518-734-4230.
