Stunning romantic landscapes & classical realist still-lifes
Duchesne & Cook highlight WFA’s eclectic autumn show!
The walls of Windham Fine Arts gallery are covered by some of the most exquisite regional artwork this autumn! Especially noteworthy are the precisely-detailed, dramatically rendered still lifes of Mireille Duchesne, which showcase a variety of fruit and vegetables (see left, “Apples” 5″x7″ oil on canvas), and the golden, soft-glowing romantic landscapes of Kevin Cook (see below, “Sunset in the Shawagunks” 12″x16″ oil on canvas), which capture the enchantment of Hudson Valley scenery. In addition, visitors to the gallery will see impressionistic local vistas by James Coe, and vivid chromatic “roadscapes” by Thomas Paquette.
We look forward to seeing you here this fall!
*Remember that during the month of October, 10% of all WFA’s sales will be donated to the Windham Chapter’s Rebuild Windham Fund!
