WFA at the AAF Thursday Nite

I see Peter, and I see David and I see Aileen! Oh, and I see Bill and Adie, and there’s Gretchen, Ottho, Max and Kelly, and Victoria! And Deidre and Dominic! Ok, maybe I am showing my age conjuring the romper room set, but if you like art, and you like people, it’s like being in a kindergarten here at the fair - lots of fun, color, personalities. And the people watching is great - there are the slow walking, take- it- all in browsers. There are the serious, furrowed brows with pen and paper in hand. There is the occasional television personality. There are the artists who stop by to just say hello,  to introduce themselves, to talk a bit about art, to comment snarkily on someone else’s work (bad form!), to admire fellow artist works (excellent form!) There are the amateur critics and I suppose some professionals (but I haven’t met them!) There is the dude with the skateboard and pink laces admiring Firmin’s “59th Street Station”. And the babies - that’s right get art appreciation from the get-go! GTG myself ~Marie
