Biography
Marianne Heigemeir uses delicate chalk pastels to carefully orchestrate and enhance color and form while retaining a free feeling. She is able to give the most ordinary object extraordinary beauty that delights the eye. Heigemeir has not been creating for very long but she has already achieved finalist status in national competitions and has shown in several juried exhibitions. Collectors should take note of these sumptuously colored still-lifes while she is still attainable.
