Biography
Fay Wood has been a painter and sculptor since 1960. Her work can be found in many private collections in the United States and Germany. Recently she has exhibited at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, in Florence, Italy, Cologne, Germany and at ArtExpo in New York.
Her Studies began at the Massachusetts College of Art, and in later years, at the Art Students League, School of Visual Arts and with Wolfgang Behl. She began carving wood in 1970, and began combining found materials with carving soon after. Metal, wood, wire, paper and beeswaw are a few of the materials she works with at this time.
