Antonio Perez Melero's unique works are 3-dimensional built from wood, paper, canvas and acrylic paint. Their construction evolves organically from within a highly organized process. His work often evolves from observing the properties, measurements and relationships of objects found in the real world. Windmills, the night sky, spider webs, palm fronds are all examples of things which have inspired Perez Melero's geometric artwork. The final product is an example of his artistic vision combined with disciplines of geometry and applied design. Viewers should interact physically with the constructions, walk around, and view them from all perspectives to see multiple images magically appear. Studying them closely one is fascinated with the detailed, intricate methods of construction. Always interested in visual art Perez Melero began creating his three dimensional constructions in 1971. Perez Melero has had more than 35 one-man exhibitions and has participated in over 20 group shows in Europe, the United States, and Latin America. His work is found in numerous private and public collections worldwide.
